Terms of Use

CopySnips is a free library of Power Apps YAML components (see About). Using the site means agreeing to the following. It's short on purpose, this is a small, single-maker project, not a corporate product with a legal team behind it.

Using the components

Every component in the library is free to browse and copy into your own Power Apps projects, personal or commercial, no attribution required. There's no license fee and no usage cap. What you build with a component is entirely your responsibility, we don't test every edge case of every Power Apps environment.

No warranty

Components are provided as-is. We do our best to keep the YAML clean and working, but Power Apps versions and control behavior shift over time, and we can't guarantee a given snippet will work perfectly in your specific app, environment, or Power Apps release. Test before you ship anything to production.

Accounts

Browsing and copying needs no account. If sign-up becomes required for some actions down the line, an account just needs to be real and yours, don't share credentials or create one to impersonate someone else. You're responsible for anything that happens under your account.

Contributing components

If you submit a component through the Contribute form, you're confirming it's your own work (or something you have the right to share), and you're giving CopySnips permission to publish it in the library under the same free-to-copy terms as everything else here. Submissions are reviewed before anything goes live, and we can decline or edit a submission for quality, clarity, or fit.

What's not allowed

• Submitting components you don't have the rights to share.
• Attempting to break, scrape at scale, or abuse the site's infrastructure.
• Using the Contribute or account systems to submit spam, malware, or anything deliberately harmful.

Changes to the library

Components can be updated, corrected, or removed over time. We'll try to keep things stable, but there's no guarantee a specific component stays available forever.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, this page gets updated and the date at the top moves. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the update.
